劇情簡介 ：

Vincent Van Gogh, was a wonderful painter, who died young. He had a unique painting style, and he was always trying new things. Even now, his paintings are famous around the world.

Van Gogh painted with a mix of nature and civilization. For example, he would paint a house surrounded by trees or flowers. His paintings were very beautiful, and they drew you in.

The high horizon, made it seem like you were standing right in the painting, rather than merely observing it. He used different brush strokes to add texture and reality. He loved his art, and showed it.

When he went to France, Van Gogh discovered color. He would experiment with each kind of complimentary color. When he painted, he saw day as "yellow". To Van Gogh, That color portrayed "day" the best.

He also liked to draw. For a while, he would only draw. Van Gogh would draw anything, such as hands, people, shops, random places, and even other artist's work!

Vincent Van Gogh loved to paint nature too. He would often travel to different places, just to paint. Some of his natural paintings had a lot of gold in them. Van Gogh felt at peace with nature, throughout his life.

When Van Gogh started art, he had a sponsor who would send him money, canvas, paints, brushes, and anything else he needed. This was in exchange for sending his sponsor his finished art. When Van Gogh was 16, he became a successful art dealer, then later a preacher. When he was 32, Van Gogh went to live in Paris, where he discovered color.

Throughout his life, Vincent wrote many letters to his brother. He wrote in french, even when he lived in Italy. He also sent some of his paintings along with the letters.

One of his last letters, wasn't sent at all. It was a suicide letter that said, when he died, to not sell his paintings for cheaper prices. Van Gogh would have rather not sold his paintings instead of having the prices diminish.

When he lived in Paris, Van Gogh worked with another painter called Guagin. They worked very well together. Sometimes they even worked on the same painting. That all changed one night. Van Gogh and Guagin were drunk, they had an argument, then Gauguin cut off Van Gogh's ear.

After that, Van Gogh lived in an asylum. He spent a year there , free to go out and paint whatever he wanted. After a year, he went to go live with his brother.

In those two months of living with his brother, he made 80 paintings. That was almost three paintings a day! He got very stressed, and had trouble with anxiety. At the end of those two months, Vincent Van Gogh committed suicide. He was very young, only 37 years old.

The art of Vincent Van Gogh, is displayed in the Van Gogh Art Museum in Amsterdam. Most of his paintings are shown there, and every year, there are 500,000 visitors. Many of those paintings are very famous and expensive. Vincent Van Gogh is dead, but his art lives on.

Van Gogh Was an amazing artist. He spent his life painting and drawing. He was unique and famous. Artists today, try to copy his style, because it looked so amazing. Vincent Van Gogh portrayed nature as beauty.
